 Expensive Cars in the world.
The dream of every car lover, these luxurious cars fulfill all of their fantasies about beauty and speed. But these cars are not an affordable luxury, their prices surpass our imagination. Here’s our list of 10 most expensive cars. These rolling art pieces encapsulate the priorities of the one percent, and in that universe, flamboyance and swagger take precedence over practicality and efficiency. Lifestyle criticisms aside, these are truly mind-boggling machines, and we’d like to count down our favorites for you here. For the sake of clarity, we’re categorizing recently made, road-legal production vehicles only — limited runs notwithstanding — and we’re leaving out classic cars sold at auction. We’re also limiting the list to one entrant per nameplate, so don’t expect 10 different iterations of the same Bugatti Veyron.

Pagani HuayraThis beauty is named after the God of the winds, Wayra Tata, in Quechua, the official language of the Inca Empire. Top Gear Magazine called the Huayra the Hypercar of the Year 2012.The Pagani Huayra  is an Italian mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani. Succeeding the company's previous offering, the Zonda, it had a base price of €850,000. It is named after Huayra-tata, a Quechua wind god. The Huayra was named "The Hypercar of the Year 2012" by Top Gear magazine and received a very positive review when tested by Richard Hammond on Top Gear. The Huayra was previously the fastest road car to go around the Top Gear Test Track, setting a time of 1:13.8, beating the previous record of 1:15.1 set by the Ariel Atom V8 in January 2011, and also placed above other hypercars such as the Aston Martin Vulcan, Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, Koenigsegg CCX, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and Pagani Zonda F. It is also unofficially faster around the track than the Ferrari LaFerrari. However, in June 2016, the Huayra was beaten by the McLaren 675LT that set a record of 1:13.7. Richard Hammond tested it on Top Gear and he designed it as the fastest car to go around Top Gear Test Track. Amazing design and unimaginable speed combine to create a legendary car.

09 – Koenigsegg Agera R ($1.6 million)

Produced by the Swedish car maker Koenigsegg, this mid-engined sports car gained the title of Hypercar of the Year in 2010 (Top Gear Magazine). Its name stems from the Swedish verb “agera”, meaning “to act”. Therefore, we are talking about an action car, about speed, precision and dynamism. The limited-edition One:1 is based on the Agera R, and it earned its poetic moniker by employing a 1:1 kilogram-to-horsepower ratio. The figure on each side of the colon? 1,340. That’s right, this car has 1,340hp, and can theoretically top 273 mph because of it. Simply put, this is one of the fastest automobiles ever made, and with its F1-style honeycomb core, carbon-fiber intake manifold, and ventilated ceramic brakes, it’s one of the most advanced as well.Just six examples of the speedy Swede were built, and each one was sold quite quickly. Keep an eye out on Craigslist — you never know.

08 – Zenvo ST1 ($1.8 million)

Zenvo ST1Designed by the Danish company Zenvo, this high performance supercar is the company’s first model and it was manufactured by the hands of a small team of workers, with the exception of a CNC router.Assembled on Denmark’s island of Zealand, the Zenvo ST1 is less of a car and more of an uncaged animal. It creates an absolutely obscene amount of power by combining a 6.8-liter V8 with both a supercharger and a turbocharger. Just how much is obscene, exactly? How about 1,104hp and 1,054 lb-ft, all channeled to the car’s rear wheels.Unfortunately for the Danish outfit, the mostly hand-built ST1 has been surrounded with controversy since its debut. During Top Gear’s 21st season, the program tested the supercar around its famous track, only to be met with constant breakdowns, slower than expected lap times, and a good old-fashioned engine fir
Aston Martin OneBuilt by the British car manufacturer, Aston Martin, this car was revealed to the public in 2009 at the famous Geneva Motor Show. Deliveries began from 2011 and there were only 77 models available for purchase.Prior to the One-77's Paris Motor Show debut, various details about the car had been leaked, but official specifications were not fully revealed until the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The One-77 features a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and a naturally aspirated 7.3 litre (7312 cc) V12 engine with 750 hp (560 kW). Aston Martin claimed it would be the most powerful naturally aspirated production engine in the world when the first car was delivered. The car uses a strengthened version of the DB9's 6-speed automated manual transmission and height-adjustable pushrod suspension coupled with dynamic stability control. It will feature Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres (255/35 ZR20 front, 335/30 ZR20 rear) and Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes. The top speed was estimated to be 200 mph (320 km/h) but actual tests in December 2009 showed a figure of 220.007 mph (354.067 km/h),[8] with a 0–60 mph time of approximately 3.5 seconds. The engineering and build source of the carbon chassis and suspension system was contracted to Multimatic of Canada. The projected weight was 1,500 kg (3,307 lb), but the production model was 1,630 kg (3,594 lb). The CO2 emissions of the One-77 are rated at 572 g/km. This car is elegant, luxurious, fit for royalty, some would say.
Pagani Zonda Cinque RoadsterDesigned by the Italian manufacturer, Pagani, the Zonda Cinque Roadster is the final mass-produced Zonda and it was built as a tribute to the country’s aerobatic team. The Zonda Cinque was meant to be the last iteration of the Zonda, being a road going version of the Zonda R. Only five were built — hence the name — and sold for £1 million ($2,193,070), with deliveries set to June 2009 for all five cars. The differences from other road-going Zondas were the new 6-speed sequential gearbox, resulting in shifts taking less than 100 milliseconds, dropping 0–62 mph down to 3.4 seconds. The Cinque also had a revised form of carbon fibre called "carbo-titanium" which incorporated titanium to increase strength and rigidity. The suspension used magnesium and titanium components, and the 7.3L-engine's power and torque were increased to 678 PS (499 kW; 669 hp) and 780 N·m (575 lb·ft). Revised bodywork, which included a longer front splitter, new sideskirts, rear diffuser, bumper canards, and a flatter underside as well as a roof-mounted air intake scoop, enabled the Cinque to create 750 kg (1,653 lb) of down-force at 355 km/h (221 mph) and 1.45 G of cornering force. The Zonda Cinque's prototype was designed specially for the purpose of filming a special live-action trailer for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, developed by Criterion Games, and built for shooting, with Horacio Pagani himself monitoring the construction of the car. The name Zonda comes from an air current circulating above Argentina, making us think about the lightness and speed of this car.
Lamborghini Reventon ($2 million)This unique Lamborghini is a mid-engine sports car that made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2007. Its top speed was recorded in Dubai, at 221 miles per hour. The Lamborghini Reventón  is a mid-engine sports car that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was the most expensive Lamborghini road car until the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento was launched, costing two million dollars (~$1.5 million, . Its top speed was recorded in UAE at 221 miles per hour (355.7 km/h). The official press release stated that only 20 vehicles would be sold to the public with one additional car (marked as 00/20) produced for the Lamborghini museum. Although early rumors indicated the total number would actually be 100, each Reventón is stamped with its number in the sequence of 20 between the driver's and passenger's seats.Despite the exterior being new, almost all the mechanical elements (including the engine) are sourced directly from the Murciélago LP640. According to the official press release, the Reventón's exterior styling was inspired by "the fastest airplanes" The press stated that only 20 vehicles will be sold to the public, but a higher number is said to be sold in real. It was said in the press that the exterior of the car is “inspired by the fastest airplanes”.

04 – Bugatti Veyron Super Sports ($2.4 million)

Bugatti Veyron Super Sports This really expensive sports car was developed by the German Volkswagen Group and manufactured in France, by Bugatti Automobiles. This Super Sport version was given the title of the fastest street-legal production car in the whole world by the Guinness World Records, with a top speed of 267.7 miles per hour. The supercar’s monstrous specs are made possible by its reworked quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16, which now produces 1,500hp and a monstrous 1,180 lb-ft. Sixty mph is dealt with in a rather quick 2.5 seconds on the way to the Chiron’s top speed, which is limited to 261 mph. It’s still not the fastest car in the world — that title belongs the Hennessey Venom GT — but cars like these aren’t just about speed; they’re about making statements. We think you’ll agree this Bugatti makes a very strong statement indeed.
Lamborghini Veneno
The Lamborghini Veneno is a limited production supercar based on the Lamborghini Aventador and was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. When introduced in 2013 at a price of US$4,500,000, it was the most expensive production car in the world. The engine is a development of the Aventador's 6.5 L V12 and produces 750 PS (552 kW; 740 bhp).Lamborghini built just five examples of the Veneno: One for factory testing, one was kept for itself and three were for customers. Car Zero, which was the vehicle on display,[58] will be retained by the factory for the museum. The three production cars cost €3,120,000 each, and all three were sold. This beauty is a limited production sports car, designed by W Motors, a United Arab Emirates based company founded in 2012. It was praised for quality, design and speed and it was called the best Lamborghini ever made by Top Gear. Lamborghini built just five examples of the Veneno: One for factory testing, one was kept for itself and three were for customers. There's another number 0 Veneno prototype test car.The Lamborghini Veneno has an electronically limited top speed of 354 km/h (220 mph), can do 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 2.8 seconds, can brake 97–0 km/h (60–0 mph) in 30 m (98.0 ft), and corners at 1.41 G.The car is absolutely stunning from every angle, and to this day, we’re not convinced it isn’t an alien spacecraft surveying our planet for eventual takeover. It just doesn’t seem real. The only thing more remarkable than the look is the price — a whopping $4.5 million. The Veneno is fast, and that should come as no surprise. Its 6.5-liter V12 spins all the way up to 8,400 rpm to deliver 740hp and 507 lb-ft, surging the car to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
